Sean Marcus hair in Lewes asked me to take some photographs as he wanted to enter a Loreal competition. We began at his salon then decided we wanted to brave the torrential rain so headed off to the Lavender Line in Isfield to do a shoot there.
So I am normally a location photographer but the winter months were making it hard for us to get the right kind of images for the new Poppy and Hester summer collection. It was a great experience and I really enjoyed the challenge of working in a studio.
This was an amazing shoot on a beautiful snowy day. We began at Stamner Park, which was magical. The family then needed to warm up so headed to Bills for lunch in Lewes. We then carried on after wards at the Railway Land in Lewes.
This was a very special shoot for me as Isla is my sister's first baby so I was very excited to do this shoot! We photographed Isla at her home in Brixton at just 5 days old.
Ok so I wouldn't normally work Christmas day but this was my sister! So I was very happy to take an hour out of Christmas Day to do this shoot. The tide was out the white rocks gleaming and the sun was peaking through a dramatic sky. Perfect
Had a wonderful Monday morning portrait shoot at Wilderness Wood in Sussex. It was definitely a winters morning but the light was beautiful and hot chocolate kept us warm. George was a star and a joy to photography!
It was great to come and visit Andy and Rich again. We did a shoot with their other children, Polly and George, last year in Wilderness Wood and I was very excited to hear that Andy was expecting three! It was great to meet Jamie at only 4 days old.
Another lovely shoot with Poppy & Hester. Their autumn range is amazing and it was a pleasure to go up to Cranbrook again to shoot this.
